Strategy 2008
As we complete the 20th anniversary year of the founding of the Engineers and Surveyors Institute (ESI), we have been reviewing our programs in an effort to support the public/private partnership in the best possible way. As you know, the process of developing plans and getting them approved continues to get more complex. The programs ESI provides in support of the public/private partnership must continue to evolve as the patterns of development and process evolve. The Institute is your source of expertise, continuing education, process improvement and technology application. As things change in our industry, your public/private partnership must be able to adapt and to lead when necessary.
Over the next year, we intend to review virtually every ESI program such as the education program, the peer review program, the DPE program, the membership support program etc. We will work with our membership to update these programs as necessary. In addition, we will continue to explore new opportunities to improve plan quality and process. We will continue to urge the application of technology where it makes sense. Finally, we want to make your membership in ESI more effective by improving our communication with your organization.
